Scene: Peter and I lying on our bed, in fleece body suits, watching the snow out the window and playing on our laptops.

Me: Oh, look, they're the big fluffy flakes now!
Peter: Yes, they are.
Me: Those are my very favorite kind!
Peter: Duly noted.
A few minutes later...
Me: It's pretty.  Isn't it pretty?
Peter: Yes, dear, it's pretty.
Me: I like pretty things.
Peter: I know.
Me: Especially pretty things that give me a paid day off of work.
Peter: *snork*
