What century is it again?

So the day after I finished the holiday retail job,  I came down with a ...thing, for lack of a better word.  I woke up feeling not great, mostly just tired.  However, within an hour, I was also nauseous, running what was, for me, a mid-grade fever (100.4, but I naturally hover at 96.0, so) and had a headache.  I proceeded to spend the better part of the day on the couch, pathetically sleeping and watching TV, when not in the back of the house, worshiping the goddess of internal plumbing.  Overall, not fun.  I was debating whether if could be some weird for of food poisoning, when my mom came down with a milder version of the same thing.  However, during one stage of water rehydration, I dribbled down my neck and notice that Dorothea (as Rhiannon has named my thyroid) had swollen back up to large shooter marble size.  Huh....doctor didn't say it would do that again.  It has gone back down, but still, I am curious about whether that means I will now go through another cycle of hyper, then hypothyroidism or what.  However, a doctor's visit will have to wait until I build up some more fund.  Until then, I guess I will just watch it.
