So, I had a car wreck this morning.  I am fine.  The other woman is fine.  Her car is drivable, mine is not.  Technically my fault.  There is a T intersection near my house.  I was on the perpendicular section of road.  The cross bar of the t has a hill on my right.  I head checked, committed, and pulled out....right as a woman came over the hill.  So technically my fault (I did get ticketed for failure to yield....she got ticketed for failure to have insurance). 

So, that sucked.  After the adrenaline spike wore off and the hubband got there, I got weepy (I LOVE my car).  Insurance has been called, car towed to wrecker lot, adjuster supposed to call me back.  I have a rental for the weekend, so we will pick that up in about 45 minutes.

Can I just have a do-over this week.

Thank you. The rental is a Passat, which is interesting. Apparently, fine German engineering means a) there will be many, many buttons and widgets. Many. And b) there is a minimum standard for how far you should recline to drive a Passat (I appear to be, in the vernacular, big pimpin).
