beccalynnlawWas to give up thinking I was in control. I did that, and stuff has suddenly (like the last 24 hours) fallen into place.
At the part time job, I got promoted today, which will mean a pay raise and more hours. A friend stepped in and offered me a loan to help make ends meet while I am waiting on paychecks (you know who you are, and THANK YOU!!!). I got an e-post card yesterday from the Public Defender program in Missouri informing me that had my application, and I didn't really expect to hear anything until after Dec. 5 when the current postings closed. However, I came home tonight and there was a message on my phone from the Hannibal office, asking me to call back and schedule and interview.
So things are suddenly looking up. Now if I can just get my apartment cleaned (and maybe some stuff re-packed....eep!!) I will be a happy, happy girl.
