Iceapolooza 2009...

Hasn't started to materialize in a meaningful way yet, but I am operating under the theory of " if you wash your car it rains", and while at Wal-mart (which was not yet a zoo), I bought some inexpensive tap-lights and a small flashlight.  Other than that, I have chips, pb&j fixings, pepperoni rolls, summer sausage, and apple sauce.  I should be just fine. 

My big question is whether to post-pone the panel discussion tonight on professional school admissions.  I think I will give the panelists the option and see what they say.

**UPDATE**

5 out of 5 panelists were like "We'll come if we really need to, but we'd just as soon postpone."  So no panel tonight.

So it doesn't look bad outside....but I came very near to butt planting on the ice-covered grass walking from the bus stop.

It's misting up here in Bentonville right now... 11:45.
The temp is slowly dropping... Hovering at 33 at the moment.
We shall see what transpires.

Yeah, I almost hope they bail on me, because my body really wants to just snuggle up in bed and read tonight...

We've got a nice sheet of ice over everything right now, fun fun! Here's hoping that it skips y'all.

I vote for staying in bed tonight and postponing the panel. :)

Campus closed at 1:30. My co-workers & I decided to leave early & just take paid time off.

I got home at 12:30 with a nice & toasty car. by 1:30 I had a sheet of ice on it.

The streets aren't terrible, but that's because people are driving on them.

We'll know tonight if D-bo closes campus tomorrow - if this keeps up, I'm almost certain he will.
