A sheaf of parchment, a bolt of fine cloth, fresh meats and vegetables, all of these are good things. But they are better once a craftsman has plied their skills upon them, creating beautiful charters, fine clothes and delicious repasts for all to enjoy.
The Order of the Silver Hammer was created to nurture and reward those who by skill in the sciences enrich the Kingdom of Calontir and who go beyond creation to teach others, so that such skills should not be forgotten and pass beyond the reach of man.
The Order has spoken, and We answer with this charter advancing Aline Swynbroke to the rank, estate and dignity of Companion of the Order of the Silver Hammer, for the betterment of Our realm in grateful thanks for her talents so freely shared.
This so done and given in the Shire March of the Grimfells on the 21st day of September, Anno Domine two thousand and twelve, being Anno Societatis forty-seven.
