Blargh....

So my sinuses are officially kicking my ass. I actually went home from work a little early yesterday because all the nose-blowing, combined with a lack of caffiene, triggered a migraine (I know, because it was a stabbity feeling behind my right eye where my migraines always start. Sinus headaches feel a lot more like having a vice clamped around my upper nose).
I am still going back into the office today, because our office is a little bit screwed at the moment, thanks to Ice-a-palooza. A big part of what we do this time of year is incoming freshman scholarship and fellowship application processing. All applications are supposed to be in by February 1, and we make decisions by February 15th. With the ice storm, we are a week behind on processing and reviewing applications, and we have a greater number of people calling in with sob stories about why they missed the deadline. So we sort of need to be all hands on deck. I will just take in happy drugs and kleenex with me, to try to control the symptoms.

the Arab cook book I mentioned is The Arab Table, by May S. Bsisu. I really love it.
